Caviar has introduced a collection of custom Samsung S25 Ultra smartphones inspired by the ancient symbol of the ouroboros—a serpent biting its own tail. The price for these exclusive custom Samsung S25 Ultra devices goes up to $ 10 000.
The launch of the Samsung S25 Ultra in January 2025 was a significant milestone in the tech world. Caviar, renowned for creating luxury versions of top-tier Apple, Samsung, and Huawei devices, announced the world’s first custom collection based on Samsung’s new flagship. The series, named “Lunar Year,” celebrates the Year of the Snake.
The collection features smartphones adorned with three-dimensional representations of the ouroboros, a philosophical symbol representing the infinite cycle of time, where every end marks a new beginning. In Eastern traditions, the snake symbolizes wisdom, renewal, and rebirth, making this model especially relevant for the Year of the Green Snake.
Inspired by this symbolism, Caviar's designers created unique devices that seamlessly blend philosophical values with cutting-edge technology.
The flagship model of the collection, the Samsung S25 Ultra Ouroboros, priced at over $ 10 000, is decorated with a three-dimensional gold-plated ouroboros made from 999-fine gold. Its standout feature is an hourglass embedded in the smartphone’s body, filled with golden particles that flow from one side to another, symbolizing infinity, perpetual renewal, and harmony with Chinese traditions where the snake represents new beginnings and prosperity.
The Infinity version features a more intricate ouroboros design, coiled in the shape of a clover and also plated with 24K gold. This is a custom iPhone 16 Pro Max - the only one in this series. Another highlight of the collection is the Dark Ouroboros—a Samsung S25 Ultra adorned with a sleek black ouroboros crafted from aviation-grade titanium.
Last year, Caviar introduced the Era of Dragon collection, a series of custom Samsung S24 Ultra devices inspired by Eastern culture and symbolizing Samsung’s power and grandeur through the image of a dragon. Its success motivated Caviar designers to create unique devices adorned with zodiac signs. The Lunar Year collection is a natural continuation of this philosophical theme.
Prices for the collection start at $7 000 for the Samsung S25 Infinity, with the most expensive model priced at $10 000. Apple fans may order the designs on the iPhone 16 Pro Max basis.
